I want to meet George Washington
Hi, ich soll am 9. April 2013 einen Vortrag in Englisch halten, über eine Person die ich "meeten" will. Sie kann auch schon tot sein.Rein sollte warum ich diese Person treffen will, wofür sie bekannt war/ ist und ich sollte 3 Fragen formulieren, die ich ihr stellen würd (Ich habe 4 gemacht =)).Ich habe mich für George Washington entschieden und hier kommt der Text:
I took George Washington, because:
• he fought for the American freedom
• he was an organized man
• he was the first American President (from 1789 to 1797)
• he was a general
• I like the USA
What George Washington did:
• he was born on the 22. February 1732 on the estate Wakefield
• he died on the 14. December 1799 on his estate in Mount Vernon
• he ordered the American army
• he signed the independence declaration2 of the USA
he found with Benjamin Franklin and fiftythree other mans the USA
• he had a family
• the American capital has his name
• he was modest 1
My 3 Questions:
1 Why fought you for the American freedom?
2 Were you and Benjamin Franklin friends?
3 Did you the American flag like?
4 What did you make in a different way today?
1 modest = bescheiden 2 independence declaration = Unabhängigkeitserklärung
